All that Northern California has to offer

Rincon Del Rio is located roughly halfway between Auburn and Grass Valley, in lower Northern California. We’re right on the border between Placer and Nevada Counties.
Our area is deep in California Gold Rush history and boasts the best-preserved historic downtowns in the state.

Auburn is home to the Auburn State Recreation Area, host to more sporting endurance events than any other place in the world. Auburn is the undisputed and internationally acclaimed title of Endurance Capital of the World.

Just 3 miles down the road is the Amazing Hidden Falls Regional Park. Here you will find over a dozen interconnected trails with countless options to increase or decrease trail length, climbs and downhills. It’s perfect for bike riders. The 9 Mile ride is just one of several options.
Visiting friends and family will find more to do than can be accomplished in a single day.
All year long there are fairs to wander and farms that bring wonder. Experience summer festivals that are cool and Christmas festivities that will make you feel warm.

Attend rodeos that rock, church suppers that sizzle, and famous farmers’ markets. We enjoy community cookouts, Christmas parades, and July 4th celebrations. And then there are those events that you’ve never heard of . . . like Mardi Gras in Nevada City.
