In Old Town Sacramento you will find California’s Railroad Museum, the Crocker Art Museum, and fine-art studios. Truckee offers the Jazz Artists in Residence, and Grass Valley presents The Blues Festival and nearly daily performances at Center for the Arts as well as numerous local theater productions.

Rincon Del Rio is located roughly halfway between Auburn and Grass Valley, in lower Northern California. We’re right on the border between Placer and Nevada Counties.
Our area is deep in California Gold Rush history and boasts the best-preserved historic downtowns in the state.
Auburn is home to the Auburn State Recreation Area, host to more sporting endurance events than any other place in the world. Auburn is the undisputed and internationally acclaimed title of Endurance Capital of the World.
Just 3 miles down the road is the Amazing Hidden Falls Regional Park. Here you will find over a dozen interconnected trails with countless options to increase or decrease trail length, climbs and downhills. It’s perfect for bike riders. The 9 Mile ride is just one of several options.
Visiting friends and family will find more to do than can be accomplished in a single day.
All year long there are fairs to wander and farms that bring wonder. Experience summer festivals that are cool and Christmas festivities that will make you feel warm.

If you are feeling cosmopolitan, San Francisco and Napa are just down the road. The majestic Redwoods aren’t much further. Bodega Bay, Russian Gulch, and many beautiful beaches are within 90 minutes. In Santa Cruz there are 30 miles of sun-kissed stretches of coastal bliss where you can still find quiet, mostly desolate beaches where birds often outnumber the people.
The point is, California has all there is to offer, and it’s all conveniently located near the central hub that is Rincon del Rio.
