Social & Cultural Events

Whether it’s January or July, cultural opportunities abound in the greater Sacramento area.  At events ranging from the Pacific Rim Festival, to Native American Day, you’ll find mouth-watering food, arts and crafts, live music, dancing, exhibits, children’s activities and more.

The Auburn Symphony is being increasingly recognized as among the best community orchestras in the United States.  They also delight the public with summer performances, Music on the Green, as well as presenting Young Artists’ Concerts.

In Old Town Sacramento you will find California’s Railroad Museum, the Crocker Museum, and fine-art studios.  Truckee offers the Jazz Artists in Residence, and Grass Valley presents The Blues Festival.

Sacramento State, The University of Reno, and UC Davis routinely have performances and other events to stimulate your intellect and contribute to a richer quality of life.

The Events Coordinator at ~ Rincon del Rio ~ would be pleased to find something unusual for you to do every day of the week, if that is your pleasure.
