Shared Homes

There are three Shared Homes each with six studio apartments or suites and a shared gourmet kitchen, great room, and library. The common areas provide opportunities for community, and each resident’s personal suite (with full bath and tea kitchen) provides a place where he or she can have time alone.

The rewards of our Group Houses are numerous but perhaps the major advantages are security and friendship. The presence of others promotes a happier, more independent lifestyle based on forming key social relationships.  Safety and security are ensured by continued awareness of each others’ health. A group meal in the evening, followed by cards, games, or a movie, enriches everyone’s sense of well being. Experts agree that social connections and activities increase satisfaction with life and have a positive impact on physical health.

It is by chance that we met, by choice we became friends.
